If you like visiting historical, off-the-beaten path places, this is a nice one to check out. It's not very big, but very interesting if you want to learn about part of Chicago's history. Free!

Park
“Lincoln Park runs along the Lakefront from Ohio Street Beach on the southern end to Ardmore Avenue in Edgewater. North Avenue Beach and Lincoln Park Zoo are considered part of Lincoln Park. This is a great place to go for a run or walk. You can rent Divvy Bikes at multiple points outside the park and ride along the bike path to downtown or to the north. It is a great place to run, bike and hangout with friends. On the weekends there are usually farmers' markets in or near the park. ”
