Below the Real Journeys office, there is a coffee shop that makes delicious hot drinks. A relaxing spot by the river to drink a coffee and see if you can spot some trout swimming by. Get there during off-peak times and you will have the place to yourself.

If you get the opportunity book on the Navigator overnight cruise on Doubtful Sound. This trip is well worth the money. I did it this year and it was amazing! Great scenery, fantastic food and staff. I couldn't recommend a trip that would be any better!

Doubtful or Milford Sound? hmmmm...both if you can but I really love Doubtful Sound because it is much quieter (crowd wise) than Milford Sound. You can do day cruises with either Real Journeys or Go Orange. Real Journeys also do an overnight cruise. They get booked up well in advance though so let me know if you'd like to make a reservation. Same for Milford Sound.
