From the book cover-adorned parking garage to the film vault in the basement, the Kansas City Public Library's Central location is packed with character and Instagram gold. There is also a coffee shop and full-size chess game on roof.

I am definitely prejudiced here. I am the exhibit director for the Library. We have two beautiful galleries with rotating exhibits housed in a turn-of-the-20th-century refurbished bank building. Great views from the rooftop terrace. The Library parking garage across the street has been featured endlessly on line for the book murals on the south side of the structure. Selfie-worthy, and it's on the streetcar route!
