2.5m trail at the top of the mountain road. Quite popular on busy days. Drive up the notch, enjoy the drive and do this moderate hike. For those desiring more miles it connects to the long trail and you can go as long as you like!

A medium difficulty hike located very close to the chalet boasting amazing views and a high alpine lake. One of our favorite hikes!

One of our all time favorite hikes, access is at top of notch and great for hiking with all ages, young and old. One mile up, you will reach Sterling Pond and a short hike beyond pond will bring you to the top of Sterling mountain chair lift of Smuggler's resort with breathtaking views of the valley.

2.3 mile out and back hike brings you to the top of the Notch. Hard work but well worth it!
