Every Tuesday you will find a farmer's market here. It goes from really early to around 12-1pm. Best place for cheap and very fresh food.

On Sundays there's a local market place with handmade crafts, Brazilian food and paintings. Really interesting.

Right across the street, bus, metro and taxi hub. Be sure to visit the famous "Hippy Market" every Sunday from early morning until dusk. Thursdays you'll find a great selection of local, organic fruits and vegetables.
