Staci Woo and husband Mike Badt moved their wholesale clothing design studio to this warehouse in 2007. “We always knew the front would be good for retail,” Ms. Woo said, “but the neighborhood wasn’t ready.” A few years ago, it was, and Woo Souvenir Shop (now House of Woo) opened, with an evolving mix, from cashmere undies and floaty dresses to baby clothes and vintage finds (need a Cameroonian feather headdress?). 209 S.
