We found it less busy here than other places. Fun place to watch the kite surfers.

Great place to fish- $2 per person. Rental fishing poles are $2 per hour and $3.50 for bag of shrimp bait. Great budget friendly place to family outing and fun under the sun!

A great view served with a side of lunch! The Rod and Reel Pier is a hidden treasure and tucked away on the far north end of Anna Maria. It gives you all the "old Florida" feels and has been around since 1947. The Rod & Reel Pier is a two story, newly renovated restaurant, directly on the Gulf of Mexico. Atmosphere is casual dining.
