Lake Anna State Park features a swimming beach on one of Virginia's most popular lakes, fishing pond accessible to children and people with disabilities, boat launch facilities, pontoon boat rides, picnicking and hiding. Visitor center exhibits trace the history of gold mining in the area and highlight the natural features of the park. Panning for gold and nature programs are popular activities. $10 parking fee.

Lake Anna State Park is a short country drive away. It has more than 15 miles of hiking trails, picnicking, guarded lake swimming, playgrounds, a boat ramp, and a fishing pond.

It’s a wonderful place to go and spend the day with friends and family. There is public beach access, boat access, hiking trails, mountain bike trails, fishing access, playgrounds and BBQ pits.
