Grohote is Šolta's oldest, largest and most important settlement. It is located in the center of the island, only 1,5 km away from Rogač, Šolta's main port. Walking through the center of the village you can enjoy traditional architecture (like Bratska kuća) or historical buildings like Slavić tower or St Stephen Church.

There is a big Studenac store for everyday groceries, also there is a meat shop, bakery, few coffee shops, and green market with local products.
