Ever wondered what that mountain is that you can see from almost anywhere in Barcelona? It’s called Tibidabo. Climb to the top—or take the beautiful old tram from Plaça de John Kennedy—for some truly breathtaking views of Barcelona. There’s also an old amusement park in it, which is great for photos. Go into the church, called Temple Expiatori del Sagrat Cor, and climb to the very top for some extra special views. Just so you know, the building is the work of the Spanish architect Enric Sagnier and was completed by his son Josep Maria Sagnier i Vidal in 1961.

Great hike, you just need to Google which path to take - some are longer and a bit harder. Very rewarding by the time you make it up, there is a beautiful church, an attraction parc, plenty of places to eat, and beautiful views.
One of the best places in Barcelona. It 'sa must do while you're in Spain. Enjoy Spanish music in the park, amazing nature people. The park may be crowded during the tourist season.
This is possibly the coolest location for a theme park – on top of a mountain. It’s the only one in the city, and to get there you have to take the steep funicular. There’s a good mix of classic and more modern rides, with many suitable for all ages. It’s also next door to Sagrat Cor, atop which…
Not only a theme parc for kids, but also a marvelous view on the whole city of Barcelona. The historic uphill train is a thrill and lots of fun. Part of the theme park and the church can be visited free of charge.

“A marvelous view from the castle (which is also the Catalan museum of art) down on the city and an incredible water and music show with lots of pretty and giant water fountains. Google for the actual show-times during your actual season.”

“Initially conceived to be a garden city for Barcelona’s wealthy families, the plan was aborted in 1914. Nowadays, the park holds a magic air that comes from Gaudi's personal tallent and creativity. From November to March, Park Guell is open between 08:30 AM - 06:30 AM. From April to October, it is open between 08:00 AM - 07:30 PM. A good tip to avoid crowds of tourists is to go during the night. You'll find yourself nearly alone with the park to freely explore.”

“Surely "the" museum to visit in Barcelona. For the artist and for the building. Imagine Montcada Street, in the Gothic quarter, five mansions united to form a museum, lovely to visit. About Pablo Ruiz Picasso the museum is essential to understand his formative years. The genius of the young artist is revealed to us through more than 3,500 works that make up this permanent collection.”

“he Parc de la Ciutadella is very idyllic and probably the greenest oasis in the megacity of Barcelona. It invites you to relax, to rebound and to go for long walks, as well as for a picnic. You can also use a rowing boat on the lake. On the grounds of the Parc de la Ciutadella, there are several attractions: the zoo, the Catalan Parliament. The Museu d'Art Modern is situated in the building of the parliament. The Zoological Museum and the Museu de Geologia are placed in the area of the park. ”
