Great place for breakfast. Sit outside or inside or under the marquee. The views are superb and on a sunny day there is nowhere like it. Simple but well prepared food.

Route
“The Royal Terrace Gardens, known locally as Rock Walk, are situated beneath the towering cliff of Waldon Hill, which overlooks the sea front, and is one of the Wonders of Torquay. Rock Walk is a network of paths with Mediterranean planting throughout. Also from here, you are greeted to magnificent views of the princess, the Harbour and as far away as Berry Head. ”

“Home of the TOADS amateur theatre company, this is actually a very seriously run enterprise with a packed programme of shows throughout the year.”

“Slighly pricy and aimed at the Rich and trendy. The road down is a bit tortuous and we wouldn't advise taking your car in summer although there is a small car park. You can walk down through Walls Hill or down the road, but take care, it's very steep and very narrow in places. However, it's probably well worth the effort. We only go in winter when it's quiet. You can also walk along to Oddicombe beach from here and tale the cliff railway back up the steep cliff route. ”
