great excursion 2 hours driving from Portovenere to admire perfectly well kept caves ,in the Lunigiana Region , you can admire stalactites and stalagmites. You can aslo have great thermal hot springs baths in the area

grotte da visitare, tragitto in bellissimo paesaggio verde, da combinare con un bagno in fiume con acqua termale o stabilimento balneare. visit in cave with nice landscape & termal waters

Il complesso carsico delle Grotte di Equi è censito come ‘geosito’ dal Parco Regionale delle Alpi Apuane. Si è formato nel corso di centinaia di migliaia di anni grazie all’azione dell’acqua che, penetrando per millenni nelle fratture del calcare, ha formato pozzi e gallerie.
