Quimixto is a small town located within the municipality of Cabo Corrientes, south of Puerto Vallarta. It‘s a small fishing village, popular among tourists and locals alike. You can get there on a 20-minute boat ride from Boca de Tomatlan.

A nice boat ride takes you to this little town only accessible by boat to enjoy the sun, the ocean, and some nice margaritas with guacamole.

The small coastal town of Quimixto is only accessible by boat. Here you can take a 30 min hike or pay to ride a horse to get to a small waterfall where you can swim and jump off rocks into the cool mountain water. There is a very small restaurant where you can also have food or a beer while you enjoy the scenery.
