This is a privileged protected area, in a different countryside. Good for walking and watching protected species.

A beautiful easy circular walk that takes you through the nature reserve of Fonte Benemola. You may even see a kingfisher. Be sure to visit the basket maker for a souvenir basket!

If you love nature then this walk is ideal. Pull sneakers or walking shoes and hit the road. Fonte de Benemola is a natural resource that continues even flow in the hottest and driest weather in the Algarve and this wonderful place still has a lush vegetation along the stream banks. A quiet walk. It takes about one and a half hour.
