The museum could take an entire day to view. It has many collections from various periods of history. There is a Sculpture Garden next door. The park also has amusement rides, putt putt golf and tennis courts.
Wonderful collections. The cafe also has good snacks. Walk, take the Carrollton Streetcar, or ride a Blue Bike. Parking is also easy here.
NOMA is a great but we picked this because we love their sculpture garden. It’s free and they recently expanded it.
NOMA is New Orleans’ oldest fine arts institution and most ambitious cultural convener. NOMA’s permanent collection is at the heart of all museum programs and has grown from 13 works in 1912 to over 40,000 today.

“One of the best museums I have ever been to! You could spend hours here. It is well worth the admission fee and extra charge to see the movie, too!”

“Just a great museum! If you happen to be so lucky to be staying on a Thursday evening, the Ogden hosts the "Ogden After Hours" which runs from 6-8pm it features live music and a few cocktail bars. Enjoy the Art, Music and have a drink as you explore the museum. Great views of the city from the roof top veranda. Very Fun!!!!”
