35mins North of Klamath Falls. Home of Spring Creek known for its stunningly clear, aquamarine water (but very cold yr round!) and great kayaking. The secret to the clarity and color is water that bubbles up through the sandy creekbed from underground springs. Unique to the Creek is a type of algae called "mares stones" that look like round, smooth stones in the water. They only grow in very specific conditions, and the environment is perfect here. There is a small, open-air logging museum that is fun (Collier Logging Museum). It showcases rare and antique logging equipment dating to the 1880. Restrooms and drinking water available. Nice picnic tables by the Creek and large grassy area to relax on.

Collier Memorial State Park features a campground, outdoor museum of historic logging equipment, relocated pioneer village and a new four-corral, primitive horse camp and trailhead. At the state's finest logging museum, you'll see rare and antique logging equipment dating to the 1880s, as well as more recent pieces.
