Just two blocks from Hollywood Boulevard, Runyon Canyon Park is an often overlooked urban park that offers some great views. Atop the canyon, you can glimpse views of the San Fernando Valley and the Pacific Ocean, as well as the Hollywood Sign and Giffith Observatory. The park also boasts several hiking trails and is a popular spot for celebrities to exercise. Travelers say that the canyon is reminiscent of Old Hollywood with several old mansions and estates scattered throughout the park – keep your eyes peeled as you follow the trail.

short but somewhat challenging hike. Dog-friendly. Great views of LA. Near Hollywood Blvd.
Great, quick hike. It's a bit of a challenge going up-hill but it's totally worth it at the top! Overall, takes about 30 minutes to hike to the peak.
Always a popular hike, this is the go to when you're near hollywood as it's a moderately strenuous hike and has high potential to spot a celebrity.
Right up the street from the building, is the famous Runyon Canyon. Great place for hiking and dog watching, but the highlight is definitely the views. On a clear day, you can see entire Los Angeles spread in front of you. From downtown to the beach. Great trails for running or hiking.
If you are staying in LA, and you just want a short scenic hike, I would recommend you to do the Runyon Canyon hike. The hike is of moderate difficulty, and once you get to the top, you can see the entire city of LA.
I recommend Runyon Canyon, because I’ve been there several times myself. It’s a great place to see L.A, especially at the top. It can be challenging, depending on your fitness level, but you can go at your own pace. The sun is always warm on your skin, people are very friendly, and the dogs always…
Dog-friendly Runyon Canyon is one of the most popular trails in all of Los Angeles County - but look past the crowds and you'll find lots to love here. Don't be surprised if you spot a celebrity.
Super popular and famous hiking spot. It's a common spot for LA locals and new visitors.

“Immanuel Presbyterian Church has a congregation that began in Los Angeles in 1888, with the sect's current church constructed in 1929. Created by architect Chauncey Fitch Skilling in a French Gothic Revival style, complete with a rose window of stained glass reminiscent of Notre Dame Cathedral. It also features a soaring tower that is over 200 feet high. Oak interiors and large chandeliers grace the area where worshipers gather for services, which are offered in bilingual English and Spanish languages. If this church looks familiar, you've probably seen it in a movie or TV show, as it has been a part of "The Amazing Spider-Man," "John Wick" and "Sister Act 2."”
