Just up the road from the cottage, this restaurant sources all their ingredients locally and have a varied menu. They have a great specials board too, the chef is always experimenting with new food. On a sunny day, sit outside and take in the views of the countryside.

It is only a couple of miles away, on the A68. Great food and beer (limited if you are a veggie), friendly, cozy pub, and you can take your dogs into the bar.
