The Independence Park, in addition to the Monument with the crypt where the mortal remains of D. Pedro are, has the Casa do Grito and a large green area with beautiful gardens and open spaces used for skateboarding, rollerblading and biking. And although the Museum is closed for renovations, visitors can admire its beautiful architecture inspired by a Renaissance palace.
