Just do it. I thought it sounded silly, but it is amazing and beautiful and you'll be glad you did. Also, if you pay for admission you can go back again later that day. I guess that is just in case the butterflies are all sleeping when you go (who knows.) The gift shop is also a lot of fun.

The Butterfly Conservatory is a local and tourist favorite. It is located on the corner of United and Duval St and features hundreds of different butterfly, birds, and 2 flamingos named Rhett & Scarlett. Super zen and relaxing. Grab $2 off coupons from the desk once you check in!

They have a glass-enclosed conservatory where nearly 60 species of butterflies soar freely among the plant-filled habitat. In addition to the butterflies, more than 20 species of exotic birds are also kept here.
