Outside of the entrance to the museum is an installation by Chris Burden called Urban Light. About 200 streetlights are distributed to create a grid-like effect with the museum’s facade and some palm trees in the background. It’s often quite busy, but it’s definitely large enough to get a shot of yourself inside the installation. Have a friend lie on the ground inside the installation, point the camera up, and snap a few shots to get the best photo.

LACMA is definitely one of LA’s coolest attractions. Outside it has the famous row of lights that attract a number of tourists and there’s a lot of other cool art inside that’s worth checking out. It also has a solid (but pricey) outdoor restaurant called Ray’s & Stark Bar, which is great for happy…
LACMA is the largest art museum in the western United States. The museum is being renovated, however, please verify which areas are open to the public on the dates of your visit.
The Los Angeles County Museum of Art is a perfect place to stroke your inner artisan. The beautiful Urban Light is a large sculpture at the entrance and is an installation of 202 restored street lamps from the 1920s and 1930s
Fun fun fun for the whole family. There's nothing quite like LACMA. It's a must see for any serious lover of art. It's big. I recommend visiting the Serra Sculptures. There's something for everyone there.

“Free! Just pay for parking. Majestic hilltop buildings, the art is Ok, the traveling collections can be great, but the real attraction is the space and gardens themselves. Must not miss!”

“Just two blocks from Hollywood Boulevard, Runyon Canyon Park is an often overlooked urban park that offers some great views. Atop the canyon, you can glimpse views of the San Fernando Valley and the Pacific Ocean, as well as the Hollywood Sign and Giffith Observatory. The park also boasts several hiking trails and is a popular spot for celebrities to exercise. Travelers say that the canyon is reminiscent of Old Hollywood with several old mansions and estates scattered throughout the park – keep your eyes peeled as you follow the trail. ”
