The road to this bay via the Asah hill side is very beautiful. This beach is known for its big waves and the white sand.

It's simply one of the nicest places to visit in Bali. Virgin beach has stunning views and is in between Amlapura and Candidasa East Bali. The water is so refreshing here and crystal clear. Best times to visit for a swim i find before lunch then laze around with a beer or two or a massage. It has a wide beach with many restaurants. At the eastern end a restaurant called Fishermen Cafe is our favourite. Grassed lawns, room to move, plenty of cover if the weather turns sour and most importantly great food.

Virgin Beach is one of the most popular beach in Karangasem – East Coast of Bali. It has soft white sands and clear blue water. The entrance is IDR 10.000 per person (for foreign tourists, Aug 2020). The road to the beach is excellent, with lots of amazing views along the way! There are many warungs and beach bars selling food and drinks along the beach. Sun loungers can be hired for an affordable price. Some restaurants offer body-massage that you can try if you want to. The beach has intense waves, and rocks in the sand. You can swim here, however, no lifeguard on-duty so you must be very careful.
