A stunning gorge walk, then a meandering valley ending with a beautiful waterfall. The iconic elephant rock is half way song the gorge. The colour of the water is a vivid emerald green. Local cafes are available for refreshments at the top of the gorge.

There is wonderful walking tour through Mostnica valley till its beginning with waterfall, easy to go also with children.

You’ll be amazed by what nature can do, when you see Mostnica Gorge. It’s a lovely, breathtaking walk through the forest, while you admire the emerald green water. Words cannot describe this, really.

Mostnica Gorge and the Voje Valley are one of the most wonderful and most visited natural attractions in Bohinj. Explore the crystal-clear water and enjoy a walk in the beautiful forest. At the end of the gorge is a mountain hut with traditional Slovenian food and great desserts.
