The real Mussoorie darshan I believe is this place and not the ordinary Market like the Mall. The beauty at this place is what Mussoorie is and should ne known for. The British Era connection and history is very interesting you can google and read all.

George Everest House is situated about 6 kms from Gandhi Chowk in Mussoorie and one of the major tourist attractions in Mussoorie which is secluded and peaceful. It offers spectacular views of the snow-clad Himalayan peaks and panoramic views of the Doon Valley.

Mr George was working in British army who traveled on foot to survey British India after survey one place that he really liked to make his home was George everest home.
