This is a great trail to do with the family. Only 10 minute drive from town. it's a beautiful trail filled with wildflowers, aspen trees, and views of the town below. It's an out and back hike OR can be done as a big loop. I would personally recommend doing it as an out and back OR shuttling the trip with a car parked at the end.

Great for skinning in winter and hiking in summer. At the start to the road to Gothic and Schofield Pass.

Snodgrass is about 1-2 miles past Mt Crested Butte - great trail for snowshoeing or cross country skiing! Free parking at the trailhead

Popular snowshoe, fat bike, and backcountry ski trail. Mountain biking and hiking in the spring.
