Palais des congrès is located in Quartier international de Montréal and is within walking distance of Vieux-Montréal, the nearest Metro station is Place d'Armes. The unique building is interesting architecturally with its glass panes of alternating primary colours. Outside Palais des congrès but within the network of the underground city is a display of public art by Claude Cornier called Lipstick Jungle. There are many architectural curiosities in Montréal and this is one of them.

There is an underground passage that goes from Bonaventure (Gare Centrale) to Palais Des Congres or Place-d'Armes metro station. The tunnels have a contemporary design that decorate your walk very nicely. I would ask the locals or the metro station workers how to access the underground tunnels.
