Grgur Ninski was made by the most famous Croatien sculptor Ivan Meštrović. It is very popular among the locals to rub the toe of Grgur Ninski. The tale says if you make a wish while rubbing the toe, your wish will come true.

In 926, the representatives of Croatian churches were called together by Pope Ivan X in order to conduct a reform of the then current church system.
