For anyone interested in our nation's history and one of the most important battles of the Civil War. A spectacular 45 minute drive through the fruit tree belt of Pennsylvania's countryside is this amazing site. We recommend if you decide to tour the battlefields get on one of the tours.
The National Park is updated and gorgeous with facilities, restaurant, theater, gift shop, and trails. There is plenty of parking. There are bike trails also to enjoy the enormity of the park by bike. It's spotless. The town of Gettysburg is wonderful with lots of great food and it's preserved to…
Known for Gettysburg National Battlefield, site of a turning point in the Civil War. The park also includes the Gettysburg National Cemetery where a memorial marks the site of Abraham Lincoln's 1863 Gettysburg Address.
