This is by far one of the most amazing places I have ever visited! A clean warm beach with clear water, perfect for kids, in the middle of a national park. Its the perfect place for sopping in the waterfront, eating your picnic, watching the sunset or just playing all day long. Vesterlyng is a protected nature area (since 1945) full of heather, juniper bushes and blackberries. On windy days kite flying is the way to go. Its actually one of Denmarks best places to flying kites. Cattles on Vesterlyng It may look funny, but the cattle runs free in the nature area. They're very calm animals and in hot summerdays, you'll probably find them in the shallow waters cooling off. Visit all year around Vesterlyng is beautiful in all seasons. Of coarse the summertime is prime time for su mer guest and shiny sun. But the autumn invites you on short hikes where You can pick blackberries and juniperberries in the wild. Wintertime on a sunny day is perfect for a walk by the sea and landscape. The spring is amazing with all the wild flowers sprouting everywhere.

Dyr i området. - Hare - Køer - Hjorte - Rovfugle
