Vegetarian cuisine. A rage among Gomerans: 11€ for vegetables only!!! but much loved among tourists, including me. A traditional farmers meal with salad, soup, gofio, mojo picon and almogrote. Desert of leche asada included. Open untill 20:00, perfect for after a walk in the Garajonay National park.

El restaurante tiene una larga historia, ya que fue establecido por Efigenia y su esposo Manuel en los años sesenta, aunque comenzó incluso antes como una pequeña tienda o “ventita de barrio”. Tras la muerte de su marido, doña Efigenia lo regenta en solitario. Famous food house located in the neighborhood of Las Hayas (Valle Gran Rey). The restaurant has a long history, as it was established by Efigenia and her husband Manuel in the sixties, although it started even earlier as a small store or "neighborhood vent."
