Al-Mukalla Restaurant specialises in authentic Yemeni cuisine, but you can also find the usual array of Arabian fare such as kebabs, breads and rice dishes. Set within Cyberjaya, locals often frequent this restaurant for its salta (RM13) and fahsa (RM15). Best paired with rice, the former is a fenugreek-flavoured meat stew while the latter, served in a clay pot, comprises lamb in a rich stew made with hulba (fenugreek), tomato, potato, carrot, jalapeno and green chilli. For a lighter meal, we highly recommend foul (RM8) or mashed fava beans with special herbs, olive oil, garlic, onions and lemon juice for vegetarians. For meat-eaters, arais (RM13) is minced lamb stuffed into Lebanese bread.
