This late 19th century baroque style-church made of coral stone is the seat of Roman Catholic Diocese of Bacolod. It was in 1933 when this was declared a cathedral. The church survived the test of times and stands strongly along Rizal Street. To get there, hop on a Bata-Libertad jeepney.

The oldest church in Bacolod City. The San Sebastian Cathedral is named in honor of Saint Sebastian, an early Christian saint and martyr more commonly known in the Philippines as San Sebastian.
