This is an artisan village made up of old historic buildings with amazing craftsman. Metal work, wood carving, painting . . . amazing stuff in a really cool setting. Eat at Cornucopia Cafe which there and see the Casselman River Bridge built in 1813.

Spruce Forest Artisan Village, a part of the extended Penn Alps campus, has grown from a few cabins to some 12 log and frame structures of early vintage, two of which date to the Revolutionary War Period. Most of these provide studio space for artisans. The Miller House and Compton School have narrating hosts who volunteer time during the summer. Sightseeing and Shopping Include with Pen Alps and C. Bridge trip

A unique way to experience the area and a great way to view local art, buy thoughtful souvenirs, and taste homemade goods. A truly special place.

Some very cool artisan shops here adjacent to Casselman River Bridge State Park, as well as an excellent restaurant, The Cornucopia Cafe. Another nice drive through Pennsylvania countryside.

Local artisan's each have their own historic log cabin next to the historic stone arch Casselman River Bridge. Sadly, the many tall spruce trees were destroyed in a high wind a year ago and the village is still recovering. It's a wonderful place to explore rain or shine and they need your support more than ever. There is something for everyone here... from world-class bird carving, to weaving, painting, pottery, and much more!
