Niquette Bay State Park is a 584-acre state park in Colchester, Vermont, on the shore of Lake Champlain. The day-use park is located just off Route 2, about 4 miles from Sand Bar State Park in Milton, Vermont. Activities includes swimming, fishing, hiking, wildlife watching, and winter sports.

It's a great hike that is close to the interstate and a good moderate hike that meanders through the woods to a beach if you'd like to swim. Follow the poetry trail and it will surely bring you to respect your surroundings.

Hike along beautiful trails to the edge of Mallets Bay where there are beautiful sand beaches, rock beaches, and gorgeous views. Great morning or afternoon trip for families, romance, or just for fun.
