Sea pool with heated area and cafe too, right on the sea front at Sennen. Great rockpooling nearby at low tide

A iconic Art Deco lido that thankfully was saved a few years ago, and home to the only geothermal pool in the UK. Book your tickets early to have a session in the warm pool before enjoying a drink on the terrace.

This is the jewel in the crown of Penzance promenade, the U.K.’s biggest and most celebrated art deco seawater Lido which originally opened in 1935, one of only a handful of surviving Lidos in the UK which now boasts a geothermally heated pool. LOCALS TIP – if the tide is low then the battery rocks surrounding the pool are great fun for children to go crabbing and rock pooling, always take care when you’re near to the sea and be aware of the tide times.

The Jubilee Pool is a fabulous restoration project of a 1935 Art Deco Pool - now fully restored. The main pool contains sea water which is 1-2 degrees above the sea temperature, but it also has a smaller geo-thermally heated pool that you can book tickets for. Tickets are available at www.jubileepool.co.uk There is also a lovely cafe onsite.

Whilst there are so many spots for natural swimming in the Far West, Jubilee Pool is definitely worth a visit - the UK’s largest art deco pool with a heated geothermal pool, it makes for a swimming experience like no other
