This park has miles of walking trails. There is a fee BUT if you drive further down the road there is another (side) entrance and you can hike or bike some of the trails for FREE.

The park, which consists of more than 125 acres of wetlands and ponds with all gravel pathways, was created to improve the water quality of wetlands in Paynes Prairie and the Floridan Aquifer.

love going on walks/runs here, it is so vast and always loops back around so you can’t get lost! Very safe, you can see all your surroundings clearly and there are park rangers around. love the water refill stations/shaded seating . Great place to get a tan + workout!

Beautiful wetlands park. Gravel packed trails. Bring your walking shoes and binoculars.
