This is York's smallest pub! It has a cosy living-room feel. It is Grade II* Listed and it's untouched Edwardian decor is amongst the oldest in the city. Due to its small size please note that groups are banned.

For a snug, cozy, proper old man pub it is tough to beat the Blue Bell. Packed with interesting things on the wall, and really friendly staff. Just don't order a Carling!

The smallest and possibly oldest pub in York, but then many lay claim to being the oldest, certainly worth a visit, on the popular Fossgate.
