Elk Meadow Park is a great place to hike with your family, if you have little ones, or if you just want to talk with a friend as you hike and take in great views of Colorado. Find some moderate hikes here, use the all trails app and look for Elk Meadows Park South Loop ( a 2.6 mile/ easy hike).

True to its name, Elk Meadow Park is the most likely place to view herds of elk. Trail experiences are diverse including rolling hills to 9,708-foot Bergen Peak.

Awesome park with a range of hikes of all difficulties. Close to Evergreen, which is a great stop for food and drinks after a good workout.

This 1000+ acre area has something for everyone. Perfect for exploring on foot or with your bike. You can navigate to the main parking lot of the Stagecoach trailhead. For a challenge, climb Bergen Peak. To spend time winding through woods and in the open meadow, take Sleepy S and Meadow View.

Giant off-leash dog park in the forest, complete with hiking trails and creek! The rest of the park is awesome for hiking sans canine as well!
