In the limestone village of Liscannor on the fringe of the Burren, a cosy Victorian pub with a blazing hearth. Like so many pubs, P.J. Egan's is a secure winter refuge from real life, with dusty old wine bottles as decoration, wide, wooden armchairs for corpulent drinkers and light bulbs…
Small quaint pub up front with a generously sized back venue. Big wine selection. Live music often.
Our favourite spot in Liscannor and potentially Clare! :) Egans is a must for true music lovers. Amazing sessions throughout the week, particularly Fridays and Sundays.. The wine selection is second to none and the interior is fabulous...!

“An amazing cliff top walk either self directed or join up with Local Guide Pat Sweeney who sets of each morning at 10:00 am outside Oconnor's Pub to offer his own spin on local history and view points along the way. This is an experience not to be missed offering clear views of the Arann Islands and Connemara in the distance on a clear day. Definitely will blow off the cobwebs!!”
