This can be seen right next to Go Ape, or if you just want to go for a very short walk it's about 10mins off the main road. Would recommend to combine this with a mother day activity as once you've seen it, you've seen it.

Car parking is just after RBHS on the left beyond the school playing field. Then follow the wide stone road to Liverpool Castle. Continuing alongside the lake until you reach Go Ape. Were you can stop for a picnic lunch and join the other circular walks via the barns. Just about suitable for a buggy. After the first lockdown I I sang this to my children every day. Here comes the sun, by the beetles. And during lockdown 2, I sang Billie Eilish, Sunny to them daily. I slept on my bottom today climbing down the steep bank to part of rivington beach. Very quiet only saw a few people at teatime. Lovely, even though my youngest was chuckling bricks at my oldest pretending to try and skim stones. They then hung out of the sunroof dancing. The car was stationary and they’ve been warned never to do it when the car is moving.
