A slope going up from the station to the high school is described in the opening of the animation "slam dunk". And people come over to look at the place from the Asian countries. When there is many it, around 40 people hold a camera each. (there is sometimes the person dressed in the wedding, too!) 駅から高校へ上がる坂がアニメ「スラムダンク」のオープニングに出てくるということで、聖地巡礼の人々がアジアの国々からやってきます。多い時には40人ぐらいでカメラを構えています。（時々ウエディング姿も！）
