Recently renovated, Ho Kee Pau offers traditional Cantonese dim sum at affordable prices! Originally a traditional steamed bun (Pau) manufacturer, Ho Kee Pau has grown into a food and snacks chain that sells local fare including 'Wanton Mee’ (a noodle dish that can either be ordered dry or with soup, together with pieces of ‘char siew’ roast pork and fried dumplings). We recommend trying the Wanton Mee, together with generous spoonfuls of their homemade chilli! Another dish that we love is the prawn wrapped in deep-fried beancurd skin. We have to refrain ourselves from gobbling up too many of them!

Geylang’s Ho Kee is within walking distance from Aljunied MRT Station and the entire eatery is open-air and often very humid. If you feel Singapore's weather is great, you haven't stayed here long enough yet. :p Their service crew are a common reflection of Singapore’s F&B industry. Comprising of mostly Chinese nationals and Chinese Malaysians but they are very polite and willing to attend to our table needs.
