Mikri Santa Maria is a little further along the road from Santa Maria and is a small haven if you want something a little more intimate. Most of the beach has sunbeds and umbrellas, but if you get there early enough there is space to just lay on the sand. Its also nice to do a little walk up over the hill to the left for a nice view and to enjoy a little of the local fauna.
