Yes, the Jamestown from Pocahontas :) Less than an hour away, this historical place is amazing to see- from the original church, ongoing archaeology projects, and well-stocked museum of artifacts- it makes for a wonderful day.

Historic Jamestowne is the site of the first permanent British settlement in North America where John Smith lived and Pocahontas visited. It is the location of the 1607 James Fort and the later 17th century city of Jamestown. It is located on Jamestown Island, on the James River at Jamestown, Virginia and operated as a partnership between Preservation Virginia and the U.S. National Park Service. The site is a live archeological dig. Take a tour with an archaeologist or park ranger to hear about the latest discoveries. Visit the Archaearium, a museum that houses two million artifacts uncovered since the Jamestown Rediscovery Project began in 1994. Only 25 Minutes away!
