Easy riverside trail along the Yakima River; cute storyboards with an Indian legend along the trail. The trail starts at the parking area just before/after the Yakima River on Uptanum Road. Or drive into the park to the small lake and extensive lawn for sunbathing.

First parking lot features a river walk that leads to the lake, although you can drive to the second parking lot located at the lake itself. Great place to hang out if you want to be by the water.

The park is open between Memorial Day and Labor Day at least, and if the weather is good is may open early and stay open later. This a great place to go and swim. Go on a little family adventure and explore the trails. There is also a disc golf course there and I have discs to rent if needed.
