This is a great place to take the kids & let them run. Look for Discovery Park (playground toys), Mirabeau Springs (artificial waterfall), and Mirabeau Point Park (huge picnic area with frisbee golf). Paved trails connect them all. Grade school kids will love the portion of the Centennial trail across the road - the rocks by the river are great and you feel like you're on an Adventure. Near YMCA & Center Place Event Center (as with any natural park that is public, be aware of homeless that may be camping nearby, don't leave valuables out & lock the car to avoid petty theft)
