El torreón de la Chorrera, was completed in May 1646. The tower stands on a coral islet only a few meters from the shore and not much larger than the tower itself. The tower's purpose was to impede the entry of enemy ships into the mouth of the Almendares River. The British damaged and captured the tower in 1762, after which it was rebuilt in its present form. Today, the tower contains a restaurant.

aqui construyeron los colonizadores españoles un pequeño fuerte en sus primeros asentamientos en la desembocadura del rio almendares antes de moverse a la bahia de la habana donde construyeron la metropolis

Tanto en este lugar como en el 1830, existen días que tocan gurpos musicales de salsa, o baile español, es muy cerca de nuestra casa. En las afueras del Torreon hay una cervecería donde puedes disfrutar de una linda puesta de sol.

torre storica da dove ammirare una bellissima vista. qui troviamo il bar restaurante 1830 quindi e un punto di ritrovo per bersi un pò di birra.
