Drive to Þakgil, interesting place close to the Myrdalsjokull glacier.

Þakgil is amazing. A flat valley, with jagged slopes rising up on all sides, covered by that beautiful velvet green brooks running down them. The landscape is very reminiscent of Þórsmörk.
