In a very charming location, this restaurant offered one of the best pizzas we have ever had. They also offer many dishes that are more on the healthy side - and still so delicious.

A little hidden gem, if you like Vietnamese cuisine this is a pretty nice spot. They also deliver through some delivery apps, or you can call to order and then pick up. It's very simple and family operated, and the food is delicious.

Whether you make it out there for the museums, restaurants or walking by the river, make sure to bring your camera. If you are driving, you will be surprised by how easy parking can be downtown and how traffic is usually very moderate even during peak hours.

Rowlett Park is right on Hillborough River. This is where we take our dogs to every day because there are two dog parks there. There are trails and shelters where families gather for parties, especially on the weekend. During the week it is very quiet and pleasant if you like going to walks.

MOSI has recently been renovated and now offers even more exhibits than before. If you are interested in science this is a good place to visit. Tickets are affordable and the museum is conveniently located near our house. It is also right across the street from USF if you want to walk around campus as your brain absorbs all that knowledge from the museum visit.

We normally recommend Target instead of the Walmart near our house because it's cleaner and neater. It is in a plaza with other shops and right across from USF's Medical Park Dr. If you need it, they likely have it.

Keep an eye out for tickets to USF sports teams' games. The university campus is absolutely stunning and has incredible sports facilities. The Sun Dome is where the BULLS play and also where they hold USF graduation ceremonies.

We are so close to Busch Gardens it's not even funny. You can hear the screams from Sheikra riders from our back yard. Keep an eye on their ticket specials and if you are into thrill rides make sure to check it out. They also have seasonal events throughout the year celebrating different occasions.

Although the zoo is mostly designed for families, it's a pleasant outing even for the single traveler. Located very close to our house and with affordable prices, we recomment visiting if you have a morning or an afternoon to spare while visiting Tampa.
