Classic old-school Vero restaurant with a great bar. You could see retired LA Dodger coaches or local movers and shakers. We love the Prime Rib Au Jus Dip sandwich with onion rings instead of the sides it comes with.
You can't always get food at the bar, so call first if you like bar dining.

A Vero Beach landmark, when you tell people you've been to Vero they'll always ask if you ate at the Ocean Grill. Great views of the ocean during the evening, but after dark all you see is black.
It's an old-time steak houses with menu items such as escargot, wedge salad with Roquefort dressing, steaks and seafood.
They will bring you a basket of breadsticks plastic with butter and their delicious blue cheese spread. Ignore the breadsticks and wait a few minutes until they bring you the hot loaf of bread.. worth the wait.

Only open for breakfast and lunch. It's been here forever and serves a basic breakfast and lunch fare. Easy walk from the apartment, Bougainvillea east to Ocean Dr, turn right and it's a few doors down from Cravings.

Typical dive bar with one exception, you can stand on the outdoor deck and watch the ocean. Fun people watching and a good happy hour. The food is better than it needs to be, but not noteworthy.
It's mostly open-air, so not great in the rain.

Well curated botanical garden with lily ponds, native plants, orchids and an old wooden open-air structure that shows videos of the history of the gardens.
Not a large garden, but enjoyable nonetheless.

Just a 2min walk to Humiston Beach park from the apartment. There is a boardwalk with stairs leading to the beach (all of the beaches in Vero have steps due to erosion).
Ninos Cafe is a pizza/pasta place next to the park.

Open air outlet mall, not a huge , but there are some decent stores. No restaurants in the mall, but there is a Cracker Barrel and McDonalds and Steak and Shake adjacent to it.

Great, friendly and clean grocery store. It's over the bridge, but they have everything. There is a Publix Liquors in the same plaza.

I love this theater. It is 1 in a chain of only 3 theaters under the same ownership. The tickets are cheap (around $6) for first-run movies, but the snack bar is your typical pricey endeavor.
